About the event

On Wednesday 1st July we will visit the London Canal Museum, situated on the side of Battlebridge Basin near Kings Cross. We will be shown around the museum by Malcolm Tucker, who is a Trustee of both the Canal Museum and the Thames & Docklands History Group.

 

The museum entrance is at 12/13 New Wharf Rd, London N1 9RT, about 10 minutes walk from Kings Cross and St. Pancras stations. We will meet there at 5.30pm.

 

There is no admission fee for this visit but we shall be collecting suggested donations to the museum of £5.50 or more per person, payable by credit/debit card.


About the London Canal Museum. Established in 1992, its exhibits celebrate the once thriving trading activities and working lives on London’s canals. Located on the Regent’s Canal at Battlebridge Basin, it occupies a former Ice warehouse, built from the 1860s onwards, to where the entrepreneur Carlo…
