About the event
In 1997, shortly before the London Docklands Development Corporation (LDDC) closed, Marketing Manager Sunny Crouch asked Desmond Wilcox - a renowned BBC presenter and producer - to make a legacy film about the LDDC tenure over Docklands from 1981. Andy Humphreys had directed several promotional films on Docklands and was asked to research and direct it. For the March TDHG meeting Andy will present the film, ‘The Battle for Docklands’.
The meeting will be held in the Jack Petchey Room on the lower ground floor of the museum. Please note that the museum closes to the general public at that time so if you arrive after then please enter by the rear security/staff door in Hertsmere Road.
Entry to our talks is free to paid-up members of the T&DHG. Non-members are requested to donate £4.00.
